There are so many things to do in the area. Our favourite, without a doubt… and free: sitting on a bench on Sardina beach avenue and watching its incredible sunset with views of Mount Teide. You can also do it from the terrace of the Invítame burger bar, over a beer for €1 (order a "quinto").
We recommend a dip in the small beach two hundred metres from the apartment, walking the coast and enjoying its natural pools such as Bocabarranco, Dos Roques and La Furnia. And, of course, visit the archaeological museum and park Cueva Pintada, one of the most unique sites in the Canary Archipelago, not forgetting a stroll through the centre of Gáldar and its cobbled lanes.

A must for wine lovers: the Bodega Los Berrazales, an estate over two hundred years old where you can discover the coffee and wine process with a tasting of wines, cheese and jam. €12 adults / €6 children, an hour and a half, no booking required (except for groups of more than ten). Guide in Spanish and English.
For diving lovers, Buceo Norte is the best choice for a course, a baptism or a dive to admire the rich marine life of the Sardina coast.
